One of the more affluent neighborhoods in Billings, The Heights appeals to folks that, while they want to be in close proximity to downtown, they also want to feel removed. The Heights, because it's separated from the downtown core by the rimrocks, provides them with both.

The Heights Schools

You'll find five elementary, two middle and one high school in Heights.

The two middle schools are Castle Rock and Medicine Crow and, finally, the area's high school is Skyview High.

The median age of a Heights home is about 37 years, which means that half are younger and half are older than this. You'll find a nice supply of entry-level priced homes for sale in the Twin Oaks and Sahara Sands subdivisions and mid-to high-end homes for sale in Lake Hills, all located in the West of Main Street area.

East of Main Street you'll find many of Billings' older home but some new developments as well. Many neighborhoods offer walking paths and parks.

You'll find moderately priced homes on larger lots for sale in the Hawthorne Park subdivision and even larger lots (for a step-up in price) in the Hidden Lake subdivision.
